“Burgos is half way between Paris and the Costa del Sol, a great place to stop for the night on the road. This hotel was a fantastic oasis of luxury and they accept dogs which is why we chose them. The room was fully fitted with warm wood, cozy sofa, bathtub, and they gave us treats for the dog- a dog bed, biscuits and food and water bowls as well as a tag for the door so the cleaners don’t enter if the dog is alone. The location is good for walking to the beautiful historic center of Burgos where you will find huge pedestrian zone with literally hundreds or thousands of tapas bars each more typical than the next, outdoor living all year round.
Very large and cozy beds and silent room. We took a standard room on the quiet back street, as the premium rooms with views are over the main boulevard. They looked sound proofed but we didn’t need the view.
The hotel has a huge reception area in a historic courtyard and there was a very large reception this night but we didn’t hear any of it from our room 228. Would not have wanted to be closer to the party though so make sure you ask for a quiet room.
Will definitely come back on our way back and forth with our dog!”

“Hotel de 4 estrellas obsoleto, viejo. Con pisos rotos en los baños, muebles desgastados, camas ruidosas. El mismo mostrador de recepción, que es su primera cara, viejo, desgastado y roto. Sin duda al nivel de un hostal. Un 4 estrellas engañoso, deberían de revisar esa categoría. Me atrevería a decir que lleva décadas sin reformar.El personal muy correcto y profesional.”
