“Great hotel! Rooms were updated and very comfortable. A/C was very cold in August which was appreciated. Staff was friendly. Bar got busy about 6:30pm but food came out quick and the boneless wings were very tasty. Pool was fun and not crowded at all in the afternoon and at night on a Thursday. Breakfast also came out fast and was tasty.”

The property itself is beautiful. Neat architecture and the grounds were well manicured.
Room is spacious but pretty standard. Bed had definitely had some serious use in its life.
As far as a resort goes, this hotel is not. Nice enough pool but there is no drink or food service and seating is crazy limited. A small bar sits just outside the pool area, but hardly enough to boast as a resort pool. Pool is open late which I like, but like all open late pools, had a fair share of obnoxious drunk people to stay away from.
We only tried the On-site restaurant for breakfast and it was very bad. Literally it is the continental buffet most Hilton brands offer for free but was $22!
If I were to stay here again it would be because of the beautiful property (and would need to be a really attractive rate) but will not be expecting a resort style experience.”
