Great location, easy to walk around, a lot of stores nearby as well as restaurants. Best shower I have ever had at a hotel, the water pressure was amazing and the bathroom was very clean, that alone makes it worth staying here. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Only down side was the thin walls, you could hear everyone near by, but that shouldn't matter because who really stays in their hotel all day while in NYC anyways.

We stayed one night at The Muse and we'll definitely make this our place in NY. It's a great location (the Irish Pub a couple of doors down has the best steak sandwich I've had). The thing that stands out the most about The Muse is the staff. They're so friendly and helpful, taking their time to have a chat with you and get you settled. Daniel checked us in and you'd think he'd been checking us in for years he was so warm and kind. Barbara was there in the morning along with another lovely lady. Again, so friendly and nice. It's that kind of service that keeps a family coming back every time. We were there during the holidays the lobby was pretty with trees and our room had an elf in it which was fun. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. Delicious coffee in the lobby in the morning and in the evening there was hot cocoa of all kinds.

We stayed 3 nights at the Muse, and were pleased from the very start. The front desk staff and doorman were so friendly and welcoming. I'm sorry I only remember Barbara by name, but each person at the front desk was exceptional. Our room was spacious and spotless! (Thank you for the upgrade, Muse!) The location is excellent, steps from Broadway theatre, 42nd street, and Times Square, Bryant park, etc. The ONLY glitch was that the desktop outlets in our room weren't working. So we didn't make coffee with the Keurig that housekeeping brought us. We got by easily using wall and night table outlets though. Plenty of those.

AMAZING customer service, perfect NYC location, clean and quaint rooms! I loved this hotel and as my mother would say you actually do get what you pay for. You will pay a little more for luxury here, but its actually a great luxury hotel with an amazing staff of people who run the place. They have a social hour for their guest and they have a knowledgable concierge and valet attendants. The front desk staff is welcoming and very hospitable as well. The rooms are amazing with decor and a great mattress and pillows as well (which is often missing or overlooked in hotels). Its a thoughtful place to stay where they have thought of everything including a yoga mat and umbrella in the closet for the just in case. I highly recommend the hotel and the IHG hotel brand! I definitely will stay here again as we loved our time here.

Beautiful 4-star hotel the room had a very nice walk in shower with two heads and a ledge for sitting on. The room felt quite spacious for it being the average room near Times Square/Broadway. Hotel staff in the lobby were very helpful with holding baggage due to no early check in. Both nights we stayed they had a free wine glass for guests in the lobby area by the bar. I think public bathroom leave an impression on people and the public bathrooms that are unisex were very nice modern looking. They also had lemon water in the lobby which worked out well so then we didn’t have to go buy a ridiculously priced case of water. The location is great for a family of 4 like us we wanted a hotel near Times Square/ Broadway well not being directly on broadway, this location is perfect for that because it’s a half block walk off of Times Square.

Daniel was absolutely awesome! His customer service & demeanor was profound. We definitely picked this hotel for its location however it definitely exceeded our expectations. From the gym & office located on the bottom floor to the complimentary wine tasting for the weekend guests. The ambiance and spaciousness in the rooms and lobby area were definitely appreciated. We are more than satisfied with our stay especially with the customer service from Daniel!!!

Great Hotel. Warm & efficient staff at the front desk, fabulous Art Deco rooms, comfortable beds. And a complimentary wine hour hosted by Joseph who welcomes guests exactly as you'd wish to be at the end of a busy day.

I’ve stayed in New York a few times and it’s always like staying in a shoe box. This place was NOT LIKE THAT! It’s ambiance was modern and sleek, the rooms were roomy and we even had a very nice large balcony! The shower was my favorite part because both shower heads worked great and the water got very hot !! Which I enjoyed! The shower was roomy and even had a ledge. It was great. The room had 2 beds and a desk chair and sitting couch with a closet included and working refrigerator they even had a blow dryer. This place is great!! Everything worked and it was a pleasant surprise staying in New York!! Definitely would stay here again and give 5 stars would recommend!

Superb is an understatement. Not only is this hotel close to Times Square (literally a stone's throw or less), it also has superb staff and the rooms are superior. I stayed in room 815 which was an inside room (not a street side) and hence was perfectly quite. It is very spacious with a king size bed, large tv, sitting desk, dresser with fridge, quality toiletries and even had a portable heater if I wanted. These rooms are also air conditioned and YOU have the controls for the temperature - not the hotel, like some other high rise hotels (Crown Plaza for example).The rooms were clean, no damage insight, and it had a rainfall shower but no tub, which I prefer. I also believe they have a Gym, though I did not use it this time as I was already exercising by running the marathon in NYC. I did not get a chance to access the bar/food area this time because of COVID limitations, but the lobby is perfectly clean, the door security is welcoming and the lobby staff (including managers) are the best! Not only are they friendly, but they have gone above and beyond to help me. I had trouble with a reservation that was cancelled at another hotel and the Kimpton was able to accommodate me and work with the IHG rewards team to secure my night with very little trouble. I have stayed there in 2019 and in 2021, and I plan on staying there again when in New York.

Já esteve neste estabelecimento duas vezes agora. É a minha escolha quando estou na cidade. Ótima localização. Excelente atendimento ao cliente e pessoal. Eles me cumprimentam com um sorriso e lembram meu nome cada vez que eu chego. Meu quarto está pronto ou quase pronto quando eu chego lá e é uma visita perfeita. Não pode ficar melhor.

Have stayed at this property twice now. It's my go-to when I'm in the city. Great location. Excellent customer service and staff. They greet me with a smile and remember my name each time I arrive. My room is ready or nearly done when I get there and it's a seamless visit. Can't get any better.

Eu viajo com freqüência e estava animado para ficar aqui devido às ótimas críticas e localização. A localização é excelente, mas os funcionários da recepção não são muito gentis. Nós entramos no hotel para fazer uma reserva e me disseram que tinha que fazer isto online… ok. Assim nós voltamos para nosso carro e reservamos um quarto em nosso telefone e então entramos e nos registramos às 10pm nossa primeira noite e reservamos duas noites. Durante a nossa estadia, falei com a recepção 3-4 vezes solicitando mais toalhas, sabonetes e perguntas sobre como estacionar o carro. Em cada interação que tive com eles, eles foram rudes comigo e me fizeram sentir como se os estivesse incomodando. Agora - os mensageiros foram muito gentis e prestativos. Quarto era espaçoso, limpo, moderno e a cama era muito confortável. Em nosso último dia, éramos nossos e quase e liguei para a recepção 3 vezes antes que alguém finalmente atendesse o telefone (em um período de 45 minutos). Solicitei um check-out tardio e eles me disseram que "atenderam à disponibilidade máxima de check-out tardio do dia". Isso foi frustrante porque eu liguei 2 vezes antes naquela manhã e ninguém atendeu o telefone. Eu entendo que muitos hotéis têm poucos funcionários, mas depois de pagar US $ 900 para ficar lá por 2 noites, eu esperaria que a recepção fosse mais gentil. I travel often and was excited to stay here due to the great reviews and location. The location is great but the front desk staff aren’t very kind. We walked into the hotel to make a reservation and were told me had to do it online…..okay. So we went back to our car and booked a room on our phone and then walked in and checked in at 10pm our first night and booked two nights. During our stay I spoke with the front desk 3-4 times requesting more towels, bathroom soaps, and questions about parking our car. Every interaction I had with them, they were short with me and made me feel like I was bothering them. Now - the bellhop men were very kind and accommodating. Room was spacious, clean, modern, and the bed was very comfortable. On our last day, we were our and about and I called the front desk 3 times before someone finally picked up the phone (over a 45 minute time frame). I asked for a later checkout and they told me they “met their max late check out availability for the day.” This was frustrating because I called 2 times previously that morning and no one answered the phone. I understand many hotels are short staffed, but after paying $900 to stay there for 2 nights, I would expect the front desk to be kinder. After they told me they met their max late check out availability, I kindly asked the lady for at least 30 minutes more of time (check out at 12:30p instead of Noon) and she agreed. Like I said, location and bellhop men were great, but we won’t be staying here again. Oh, they are dog friendly. Which was great because we have a 10lb dog with us.

Apenas tive uma ótima experiência neste hotel. Estávamos em uma ligação bc o hotel que originalmente reservamos foi muito decepcionante, desconfortável, AC quebrado e muito mais. Chamamos Muse e eles puderam nos reservar um passeio para o resto da nossa viagem. Sem complicações, sem problemas, sala limpa, bom AC. Muito bom banheiro, pressão da água, água quente. Quarto de bom tamanho. Pessoal muito amigável. Local perfeito para uma visita focada em um teatro e / ou jantar. Fácil acesso às linhas de metrô. Altamente recomendado.

Stayed at The Muse for 5 days. Really special place, not just another hotel that looks like all the rest, but instead a stylish room, everything in working order and shipshape. Super comfortable bed with selection of pillows. Great location 1/2 block from Times Sq. Room was quiet except when the ice cream vendor parked his cart on the same street and we could hear the annoying electronic versions of Pop Goes the Weasel and the like that played over and over. Not too loud. Front desk staff super helpful and welcoming. Really and outstanding visit to NYC, absolutely recommended!

Just had a really great experience at this hotel. We were in a bind bc the hotel we originally booked was very disappointing, uncomfortable, broken AC and more. We called Muse and they were able to book us as a walk in for the rest of our trip. No hassle, no problems, clean room, good AC. Very nice bathroom, water pressure, hot water. Nice sized room. Very friendly staff. Perfect location for a walkable theatre and/or dining focused visit. Easy access to subway lines. Highly Recommend.

Stayed here for two nights in August. The location was perfect within walkable distance of many many NYC attractions. Check in was swift and the room was very very clean. The reception staff were friendly and kind enough to provide room with a view on a higher floor. The staff were nice and helped in getting Taxi’s. Shall recommend this hotel for a stay in NYC.

The staff here is very special!! They make you feel like a rockstar. Mostly we dealt with Daniel and Joseph but truly, the whole team was lovely.I wish i could name them all.We loved the beds, the pillows and the crisp white sheets. In our bathroom shower there were 2 shower heads and the water was instantly hot!! Our view from the patio was lovely and even though we were in NYC in the summertime, we found ourselves outside reminiscing about our day on the balcony table. Thank you for making our time so wonderful Muse!!! We will back to see you.

El hotel estuvo bien aunque me esperaba más por el precio de habitación. Habitación pequeña pero muy bonita. Cuarto de baño grande y bonito, ducha ESPECTACULAR. El personal de recepción y botones muy amable y atento, doy las gracias al chico que me devolvió el móvil que había olvidado en el escritorio de recepción. GRACIAS. Limpieza muy buena en la habitación.
