My boyfriend and I came to Galveston for a cruise. We booked with one hotel and it was just an absolute disaster. At about 1230am on a Friday night, we called TownePlace, explained our situation, asked if they had any availability, and they did. Victor was amazing. He was so kind, empathetic, informative, such a wonderful face to see when we walked in after a rough day of travel and hassle. The beds were so comfortable. We saw a fridge, a little stove top, and new soap and scrub to do the dishes. If we were staying longer than a night, this would’ve been fantastic. The breakfast in the morning was some of the best continental breakfast we’ve had at a hotel. We will choose this TownePlace any time we come back to town, and probably anywhere else we go. Thank you for the fantastic service. I would recommend this hotel over and over!!

We haven’t even checked out yet, while I’m actively writing this review; This place has been SO wonderful to us that I’m in shock. They went above and beyond in every way. They have been friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Especially Jerry at the front desk. He deserves a major shout out for going above and beyond and being such a wonderful person. This place is very clean, they have excellent staff, maps for out of town visitors, and an AMAZING continental breakfast! I HIGHLY recommend staying here while you’re in Galveston. I will be coming back!

The rooms were impressively clean. Not too overstocked but good. The staff was great, especially our guy on arrival. Breakfast was impressive. And, the dog area is wonderful except for stickers out in the center of the dog court. I will be happy to come back here any time I'm on vacation in Galveston. Thank you 😊

This was an absolutely wonderful stay. I work in the hospitality industry and can be picky. I don't have any affiliation with this hotel but wish I did. This is the cleanest hotel with the friendliest staff I have been around in a very long time. Every staff member I encountered said hello and offered extra assistance. They smiled, and seemed to truly enjoy their jobs. If you haven't stayed at this hotel try it. The pool area is absolutely enjoyable and inviting. The breakfast is great (even with the new Marriott items in place). I just can't' brag on this hotel enough. Thanks for a great stay.

Can’t find anything wrong with my 2 night stay. Check in was easy, location is perfect, the place was clean and the pool area has a bar that offers drinks and food. They even offer a free breakfast. My interaction with the staff was a positive one. There are many choices for lodging here in Galveston but if I came back I would stay here again.
